These images show a set of 5 cast concrete panels with inset areas of swamp plants and insects with vertical corrugations for texture.

The plant and insect areas have hand-made, high-fire, glazed ceramic tile cut to fit into each area.  A 1’ high horizontal band at the bottom of the wall has an infill of dichroic glass tiles representative of water.

The eleven columns lining the portico are each of a different shape and color to represent the individuality of each person and child. The column shapes refer as well to the plants depicted in the concrete wall.

Suspended sculptures, in the shape of giant  insects are made from brightly colored hand-woven cotton fabrics and painted birch plywood
