| The plant and insect areas have hand-made, high-fire, glazed ceramic tile cut to fit into each area. A 1’ high horizontal band at the bottom of the wall has an infill of dichroic glass tiles representative of water. | |

The eleven columns lining the portico are each of a different shape and color to represent the individuality of each person and child. The column shapes refer as well to the plants depicted in the concrete wall.
